Riley's Big Shoot

After the infamous Wedding of Shep and Zoe, Jennifer (a guest) got in touch for pet photography for her dog Riley. I went over for an evening shoot.

As always, the 50mm f/1.4D got a couple of the winners right off the bat. Even in a dimly lit living room with a blah background, that lens can make beautiful images.

Jennifer wanted a family picture for Christmas cards, so we went outside for a group shot.

Riley was pretty well behaved! Blending pet photographer with family photography is always exciting, but he made it pretty easy... even if he's screaming with his eyes a little.

We went in for one last indoor shot - this time with the Nikon 85mm f/1.8D... for an old cheap lens, it can really do great things.
