A Birthday in Sodus

I know I shouldn't pick favorites, but Saturday's shoot was my favorite. Susan found me on Thumbtack.com to photograph their family's celebration of her dad's 80th birthday. Their extended family has a pair of cottages on Lake Ontario in Sodus, NY, so I drove out from Rochester to cover the event as well as do family portraits.

I ended up delivering 130 pictures for a two hour event - they were so photogenic and friendly that I could hardly take a bad picture. Family pictures, candid pictures by the water, children's portrait, I went nuts.
