Strong Museum with the Morses

I had a great time with the Morses - Dave is a coworker and I went with his family to the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester, NY. I thought this would be a phenomenal photo setting, but I underestimated the bizarre lighting and hordes of children crisscrossing between me and my subjects. We still got some decent shots, though!

Kayla and Sophia were so much fun. The museum is a wonderful place for kids, and you can't ask for more interesting backgrounds for photos. That last picture was taken at the "Philanthro-fish", and it instantly became one of my all-time favorite sibling pictures.

Every picture in this post was taken with the Nikon 50mm f/1.4D - the light was low throughout the museum, so the big aperture was great for avoiding annoying flash.

To finish - Kayla doing her best harried mom impression at the kids' Wegmans.

Can't beat that.
