The Wilsons

Our friends Emmett and Marisa welcomed a fresh new human into the world and had me over to photograph her, her older sister, and the family in their home. The trusty 50mm f/1.4D got a nice workout as I tried to stick to available light in their beautiful new home outside Rochester.

This was ostensibly about Ada the newborn, but the Wilsons' daughter Myrah quickly stole the show. She was tons of fun to capture enjoying her new home. We love candid children's photography because of shoots like this.
