Jenn & Ryan | A Spring Wedding with a Fireworks Finale

It was so hard to choose a reasonable number of photos to share in Jenn and Ryan's slideshow! From the gorgeous locations, beautiful light, and a bride and groom who are so expressive and joyful, I had a time trying to narrow this gallery down to just the best of the best images from their day.

We started the day at The Hotel Henry in Buffalo, NY. This impressive building was once The Buffalo State Asylum for the Insane. It has now been lovingly restored into an elegant 88 room hotel. There is nothing spooky about the gorgeous décor although I'd be fibbing if I said I wasn't secretly hoping for a little paranormal encounter while I was working there. What I got instead of was beautiful light and a gorgeous bride who was beyond easy to photograph as she got ready for her big day.

After the last lock of hair was firmly in place, we headed out for some portraits then it was time for the ceremony. The light was perfect and though the day was windy, it made for some heartwarming shots as Jenn's veil whipped in the breeze and wrapped itself around Ryan's head during the recessional. The guests danced the night away on an outdoor dance floor and the evening closed with a gorgeous fireworks display during which, we were able to capture some dramatic shots of Ryan and Jenn enjoying the show and reflecting on their best day ever!
